Retainer Policy
Travel Baby Guru

Purpose of the Retainer
The retainer serves to secure Travel Baby Guru’s availability for your family during the agreed-upon service dates.
When a retainer is paid, we reserve that time exclusively for you — declining other opportunities to ensure our full commitment to your care needs.
Retainer Amount
- A non-refundable retainer is required at the time of contract signing.
- The retainer amount will be clearly specified in your service agreement.
- It is applied toward the total cost of services, unless otherwise stated.
Why the Retainer is Non-Refundable
- Upon receipt of the retainer, your service dates are blocked off exclusively for you.
- In our line of specialized newborn care, dates that are reserved are not easily rebooked if canceled.
- The retainer compensates for lost opportunities and administrative time invested in onboarding and preparation.
Application of the Retainer
- The retainer is credited toward your final invoice or service balance.
- If additional services are requested beyond the original agreement, they will be billed separately.
Cancellation and Retainer Forfeiture
- If services are canceled by the client for any reason, the retainer is forfeited.
- This policy applies regardless of the reason for cancellation, including but not limited to change of plans, illness, or personal circumstances.
- For details about cancellations and possible partial refunds (excluding the retainer), please refer to the Cancellation Policy section in your Terms and Conditions.
Changing Service Dates
- Requests to reschedule services are subject to availability and must be made in writing.
- If new dates cannot be accommodated, the original retainer remains non-refundable.
- Modifications may require a new agreement and additional fees.
Acknowledgment
By submitting your retainer payment, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in this Retainer Policy.
